The table uses the Contract rows from the supplied “Returned from Purple Trade” reference. “Purple equivalent” is the plain return divided by 64. The displayed decimals are rounded, so use the plain amount for exact totals.

Example
A main Ranged piece needs 32 Purple contracts to go from Elite to Grand. Each dismantled trade-in Ranged piece returns 544 Plain = 8.5 Purple. Three pieces return 25.5, so you need a fourth piece unless you already have the missing 6.5 Purple from crates or other sources.

Four matching trade-ins return slightly more than the exact upgrade cost. Across the full 8-piece loadout, that leaves 1,248 Plain contracts—equal to 19.5 Purple—after every piece reaches Grand.
